Sandrina Postorino, a corporate strategist and passionate environmentalist, is the Managing Director of Trinity Ventures and Crissan Property Pty Ltd.

Sandrina also serves on the boards of not-for-profits Take 3 for the Sea, The Conflict Island Conservation Initiative (CICI) and the Rona Ellis Foundation.

Originating from Munich, Germany, Sandrina earned a Bachelor of Commerce from Julius – Maximilians University in Wuerzburg, Germany, and an MBA from Cornell University in the United States.

Embarking on her professional journey, Sandrina entered the realm of corporate strategy design and implementation at the Boston Consulting Group in Sydney. She contributed her strategic acumen to several Australian and international corporations, including Westpac, Tabcorp, and Macquarie Group.

Sandrina's passion for philanthropy, particularly in the areas of ocean conservation and animal rights, has had a profound impact on her later career. As Managing Director of Trinity Ventures since 2015, she has directed the investment portfolio primarily toward unlisted high-growth Australian companies that contribute positively to society and the environment; for several of these companies, solving these issues is their primary focus.

As Director of the Rona Ellis Foundation, Sandrina supports other charities and not-for-profits in their mission to improve social and environmental causes.

Sandrina is a PADI Divemaster, and has found the most memorable moments in her underwater adventures to be encounters with humpback whales in Tonga, as well as diving alongside dolphins and oceanic manta rays in Socorro, Mexico.

Impact Spotlight

Explore some of the initiatives we support, each striving to solve challenging environmental and social problems.

HULLBOT

Hullbot has developed next generation hull-cleaning robots, which enable measurable reductions in carbon emissions and the use of toxic anti-fouling paint.

In addition to promoting sustainable boating practices, Hullbot's survey and monitoring capabilities help identify and restore marine ecosystems such as kelp forests and seagrass meadows.

CONFLICT ISLANDS CONSERVATION INITIATIVE

The Conflict Islands Conservation Initiative (CICI) aims to conserve, protect and enhance the natural environment and biodiversity of the Coral Sea, in particular around the Conflict Islands in Milne Bay, Papua New Guinea.

The area is an integral part of the world-renowned Coral Triangle, inhabited by one third of the world’s species of marine fish and is a major nesting site for green and hawksbill sea turtles. CICI has established preservation initiatives for turtles, rays and corals, and collaborates with global researchers, conservation organisations and universities, to achieve its conservation mission.
